How did someone as drug-addled and depraved as Hunter Thompson come up with such a spiritual phrase as “Call on God, but row away from the rocks?” It sounds like something a preacher might write on a Friday night preparing for his weekend sermon. I believe God speaks through anyone, whether they are speaking from the pulpit or drowning in an ether binge.
I am a wife, mother, and a Christian. I am also a teacher and a writer. I was born in the Midwest but have southern roots, so that thing you drink out of is both a water fountain AND a bubbler. I believe the best cure for depression is creativity. The cure for creativity is organization. And the cure for organization is play.

This site is amazing. As a fellow piscean, I can say that nothing is more moving than aesthetics and you’ve created something beautiful here. The poetry of both sight and thought weave through your blog in surprising and inspiring ways. Keep up the great work and count on me as a new fan.
